What is deleted
- Every DonkeyCMS table in the database: posts, users, comments, images, settings and more
- The admin panel, the public blog pages, the RSS feed and the sitemap
- All uploaded images (
blog/uploads/) and the backups saved on the server - The file with your database details (
config.php)
The page lists every folder and file.
What stays
header.phpandfooter.php: your website's own pages may load your menu and footer from them, so they are kept.recent-posts-embed.phpbecomes an empty file, so a page of yours that shows your latest posts keeps working. It just shows nothing.- Cloud backups in Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2 or Google Drive.
- Newsletter subscribers at your newsletter provider.
- Your license: this site stays listed on it. To use the site slot for another install, remove the domain under Domains in your donkeycms.com account.

Afterwards
The last screen explains what to do next, and a copy is saved as blog/NEXT-STEPS.html on your server. In short: your pages work as they are. If you want no trace of DonkeyCMS left, put your menu and footer code back into each page (the file shows it), remove the line that showed your latest posts, then delete the rest of the blog folder.
